Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Create project training materials with a consistent and standardised look and feel
  • Co-ordinate project resources to facilitate business end-user training to support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing
  • Re-validate the size of end-user training populations to determine the size and scope of the training requirement
  • For each project workstream, work with project leads to design the training delivery approach and confirm the creation requirement of logical training modules and sub-modules
  • Confirm delivery timescales and numbers to be trained on each module and sub-module
  • Create an overall training schedule to align with project milestones, minimise business disruption and facilitate training logistics
  • Oversee the management of training logistics, including room requirements and training invites to all end users
  • Project manage the development of training courses and supporting training materials
  • Undertake regular check-ins with trainers and project leads to ensure continued progress and call out risks and issues
  • Lead validation reviews of training material to ensure fitness for purpose
  • Co-ordinate training environment requirements with third party partners, to support data needs and data refresh requirements
  • Ensure timely development of training materials to facilitate translation into local languages where required
  • Work with locally-based Project Managers to ensure training delivery readiness
  • Collate training evaluation feedback and ensure learnings are shared across the team
  • Feed into weekly project meetings to brief on progression with the training plan
  • Align the training plan with the communications and change management plan to ensure that training is an integral part of the overall change journey

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Training Co-ordinator, Training Lead or similar role on a large, global IT project
  • Hands-on experience co-ordinating a geographically spread training team and end-user population
  • Ability to assimilate training needs and create a feasible training schedule
  • Strong organisational skills to oversee training requirements across multiple business areas
  • Familiarity with different learning management systems and web-based tools including MS Office and ideally Litmos
  • Strong communication skills to work with a globally spread, project team
  • Self-motivation and flexibility to work with a team operating across multiple time-zones
  • Comfortable with technical language, from both a business process and IT transformation perspective
  • Understanding and experience of the full training cycle
