Job Summary

My client is looking for a Project Administrator to support the Project Manager with all administrative duties and to ensure all works are compliant with respect to Project Delivery, Commercial Application & HSQE.

Main Duties:

  • Copy new work files
  • Communicate directly with clients and internal departments
  • Make up work packs to include work instructions and risk assessments
  • Liaise with 3rd party interface such as hire companies
  • Clock off Pole Sheet/WI information
  • Liaise with client & local authorities; such as arranging traffic management requests
  • Advise Safety Manager on SSSI/Rail/River
  • Collation of Timesheets
  • Attend regular Project Meetings
  • Prepare weekly cost and sales summary sheet in liaison with the Project Manager
  • Cross reference cost & sales summary sheet with monthly commercial application and forward to Commercial Manager
  • Log, track and update the customer contact tracker
  • Liaise with customers on receipt of complaint through to satisfactory resolution
  • New Starter/leaver/transfer notification
  • Record and chase audits, take corrective actions
  • Complete requisition forms for PPE, tools and equipment

Skills & Experience

  • Have very good written and spoken English skills
  • Requires detailed knowledge & usage of excel
  • Basic level of IT literacy
  • Ideally have experience in the utilities industry or similar
  • Excellent communication skills, competent in having discussions with members of the public
  • Be proactive and have good common sense
  • Customer focused
  • Outstanding organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness
  • Able to work within defined timescales
