Job Description

My client is a leading IT distributor specialising in Wireless, Security and Cloud Technology.  They are looking for a Customer Support Executive to join us who will be responsible for speaking and assisting on a day-to-day basis and helping to grow the business where the Account Managers see fit. The Customer Support Executive will form part of the Customer Support team and will also assist with all related tasks. 

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with all aspects of customer services - Incoming emails, live chats & calls
  • Quoting customers, providing customer ETA on orders and general strong communication to customers.
  • Entering/approving/shipping Sales orders within NetSuite
  • Entering Prospect clients details onto the in-house database 
  • Sending software and confirmations to customers
  • Dealing with Demo Kit requests and orders
  • Liaising with stock controller for stock queries/back orders
  • Taking part in product training and keeping up to date with new products 
  • General support (including Ruckus live chats, end user changes, 1st level support)
  • Supporting the Sales Team with administrative duties

Skills & experience

  • Customer focused
  • Experience of using a CRM (NetSuite)
  • Strong communication skills with multiple internal departments
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Ability to listen and articulate effectively
  • Experience and understanding of Microsoft Office
  • To gradually learn and amass knowledge and detailed understanding of Sales  
  • Must be a problem solver and able to work under own initiative.
  • Needs to be content to work in a semi-rural environment 
  • To converse with all customers and the people throughout the organisation from Director level to bottom level.
  • To be flexible on working hours and to work longer hours as the job may entail.
  • To travel when and where necessary if required.
  • To be able to run standard reports as and when required.
