The purpose of this role is to perform all administrative functions, including booking in suppliers; goods receipting of orders; clerical functions for the assembly and despatch of orders and the collation of reports and statistical information.
The successful candidate must have a methodical and organised approach with a good telephone manner and the ability to communicate to all levels. Working to tight deadlines and the ability to prioritise will be a key requirement of the role.
Basic PC skills are essential, knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel would be advantageous. Previous experience of using a warehousing management system, although not essential would be desirable.
Ideal candidate will have a positive attitude demonstrated by a willingness to assist in all areas of the clerical function, a friendly outgoing personality and also experience of working within a team environment.
Shifts / Hours
Working hours are 37.5 hours per week. There is a need for flexibility as the successful candidate will be required to work the early shift of 06.00 hrs 14.00 hrs one week and the late shift of 14.00 hrs 22.00 hrs the following week, continuing on an alternating basis, on any 5 days per week Sunday to Friday, with occasional Saturday cover.
£9.90 per hour with shift premium of an additional 15% on hours worked between 18:00 hrs and 22:00 hrs and attractive overtime rates when the contractual hours of 37.5 hours per week are exceeded.
