My client is looking for an Accounts and Payroll Administrator to join our busy payroll team processing fortnightly, 4-weekly and monthly pay frequencies at our Head Office in Grove.
They must have previous experience within a payroll position and need to be fully conversant with all aspects of the payroll process including reconciliation of time-sheets, budget analysis, SSP, SMP, SPP and ShPP as well as attachment of earnings, HMRC RTI, end of year analysis & procedures etc. You will be using Sage Payroll Software.
They will need excellent IT skills including Excel as there is a lot of compilation and reconciliation of data on spreadsheets.
We are looking for someone who has meticulous attention to detail and who is honest and trustworthy. You will be joining a team of 2 other administrators, so the team fit is critical. The applicant should be friendly, approachable and have excellent interpersonal skills as you will be asked lots of questions from employees, managers and other staff - therefore you should be happy to investigate and resolve queries.
They must be able to work effectively to deadlines, with the flexibility to stay late on payroll processing days until the job is done.
A DBS Enhanced Disclosure will be required for this role.
