Summary

The post holder will undertake a variety of field and office based ITSupport/Network based tasks, complementing and supporting the existing engineering team who pride themselves in delivering installation, maintenance and support of Hosted Telephony, PABX, CTI, WiFi, VOIP and IT/Data Networking LAN/WAN, with additional focus on delivering messaging solutions into specific sectors.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Provide support on WiFi products to both internal and external customers
  • Keeping Company CRM up to date
  • Assist with IT networking and peripheral issues on GHM Communications Ltd’s network and carry out duties in accordance with the company's policies
  • Undertake travel by driving to clients’ site to support and assist installation projects, as well as to undertake fault resolution
  • Install, configure and maintain desktop and mobile hardware and software
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage and log tickets (to meet SLAs)
  • Asset database management
  • IT Support for GHM voice engineers
  • Provide a courteous and professional service at all times
  • To uphold the professional company image
  • To support other areas of the business where necessary or as directed
  • Provide Out of Hours support to customers/engineers on a rota basis

  • Telecoms knowledge (desirable)
  • Design, testing and implementation of changes to networks, including software updates, hardware changes and configuration changes
