Maternity Cover (circa 9 months), Monday – Friday 9am-5pm

One in four people will experience mental ill health in their lifetime, or be close to someone who does. Response Organisation is one of the largest mental health charities in Oxfordshire that provides housing and a range of support for people that experience severe and enduring mental health needs.

We are looking for a Deputy Manager who has excellent leadership skills to work at our East Oxford site. You will support individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs to live their lives in a positive way, and assist them to improve their physical and mental well-being and promote and encourage as much independence as possible.

You will have a duty of care to safeguard and protect vulnerable residents/potential residents and manage crisis situations when required, and liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and carers. This is a varied role, working in a supported housing project.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a track record of working with service users in the Mental Health field and will ideally have previous experience with your own client caseload.
