As part of continuing expansion in Europe and North America, my Client is looking for life science/science graduates for roles within the commercial department based in Didcot. Successful candidates will gain experience in all aspects of the company commercial activities and could in the medium term chose to focus, from a career development perspective, into more senior roles within one of these.
The full-time role will suit outgoing, literate and energetic graduates/postgraduates who enjoy working in a fast paced, customer-facing environment. Working with scientific staff to create and organise new literature and website content, prepare scientific and other data for optimal visibility and ease of use, supporting customers with technical trouble shooting, contributing to strategic planning for new products and promotions, direct sales contact with customers via different channels, participating in developing new business processes and supporting IT development, assessing and proposing new scientific methods and interfacing with Business Managers to help support an integrated and strategic global approach to our six key business units.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science subject or Postgraduate in Life Sciences
- Good computer and IT skills, numerate and ability to take projects/task responsibility without too much supervision.
- Candidates with some experience (even part time) in a commercial environment and who may have additional IT skills will be considered.
- German and/or French language may be an advantage although excellent English is essential.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Candidates should expect some international travel to attend exhibitions & seminars.
