Job Description: Taylor & Francis (Journals) is seeking an Internet Marketing Coordinator to assist the busy Internet Marketing Team in exploiting all opportunities available from the internet to promote our products and services to our customers, editors, authors and society partners; and to assist in the development of the website and email services to a high standard. This role will involve some hand-coding of web pages as well as using a range of in-house tools and CMS software to assist with website content management.
   
Main responsibilities:

Ø  Assist with journal marketing updates and support colleagues to
    ensure that the Taylor & Francis journals website and the
    informaworld online platform is accurate, up-to-date and conforms
    to the style guidelines.
Ø  Assist with the promotion of news, offers and journal content to
    registrants of our email alerting services and also through web-links
    and banner adverts.
Ø  Set up special offer web pages and ensure they are removed from
    site when offer has closed.
Ø  Make journal content freely available to website visitors where
    specified by marketing/editorial teams.
Ø  Assist with the promotion of our email alerting services.
Ø  Assist with maintenance, updates to and development of a number
    of subject-specific websites in liaison with marketing and editorial
    colleagues.
Ø  Organise, check and maintain web links with related sites of
    interest.
Ø  Assist the internet marketing team with updates to websites built
    for our society partners.
Ø  Collate and report on website traffic figures as required. Build up
    expertise around the statistics available from various sources and
    help to provide information and advice to colleagues.
Ø  Assist marketing colleagues with e-marketing mailings and check
    or proof emails where required.

Experience required: :

Ø  Ability to hand-code HTML accurately and a basic understanding
    of, and preferably an ability to edit, CSS files.
Ø  Some experience of using CSS to control page layout as well as
    styling would be an advantage.
Ø  Must be comfortable with the use of core office software including
    MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ø  An understanding of what makes effective copy for web pages and
    promotional emails and the ability to make appropriate checks to
    ensure that content is accurate.
Ø  Great organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise
    workload.
Ø  The ability to work collaboratively with others as well as under own
    initiative, where appropriate.
Ø  Knowledge of image software (e.g. Photoshop or Fireworks) and
    HTML editing software (e.g. Dreamweaver or Homesite) would be
    an advantage.
Ø  Willingness to learn to use a range of in-house tools and the ability
    to apply new skills and follow defined processes quickly and
    carefully.

This position is based in our offices in Milton Park, Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
