Job Description: Taylor & Francis Journals have a vacancy for a Marketing Executive in their Social Science, Arts and Humanities Marketing Team. The position includes responsibility for the promotion of a list of approximately 40 journals within the areas covered by the team.

As a Marketing Executive your key responsibilities will include:

Ø   Planning and implementing effective direct marketing and
     electronic marketing campaigns;
Ø   Producing marketing materials targeting audiences with relevant
     messages;
Ø   Measure and report upon campaign performance;
Ø   Work effectively with freelance marketers, designers and mailing
     houses;
Ø   Researching and attending conferences (UK and International
     travel);
Ø   Extensive web research and web-based marketing;
Ø   Budget planning, implementation and control.

Responsibilities include:

The successful candidate should have a good understanding of academic publishing and subscription-based marketing experience. Excellent organisational and time-management skills are required as the position involves working on several projects simultaneously. The candidate should also be a strong team player with a positive, enthusiastic approach to their work and ideally have budget management experience. This position will be based at our offices in Milton Park, Abingdon and reports to the Marketing Manager.
