| General Overview: | Taylor & Francis Journals have a vacancy for a Publishing Editor in its Chemistry Journals programme |
| The successful candidate’s responsibilities would include: |
Ø Assisting
the Managing Editor in the management and
development of this successful list of peer reviewed
journals,
including several ranked within the Science Citation Index™;
Ø Liaising
with academic editors, authors and
colleagues within
Taylor & Francis;
Ø Preparing
reports for editorial board meetings;
Ø Representing
Taylor & Francis at editorial board meetings
and
scientific conferences;
Ø Assisting
with budget preparation and analysis at
journal and
portfolio level;
Ø Maintaining
journal web sites within informaworld, our
online
publishing platform;
Ø Managing
administrative processes;
Ø Dealing
with phone calls, correspondence and routine
enquiries

The successful candidate
should be educated to degree level or

This position is based at our Milton Park
offices and reports to the Managing Editor.
