The job at a glance: |
You will be responsible for: Providing Regional Newspaper Groups with a first-class level of sales and customer service at all times - Developing strong personal links with key individuals and teams, turning relationships into long-term partnerships and ultimately achieving revenue targets
|
Your responsibilities: |
of RNG centres - in order to drive customer acquisition, growth
and retention through the delivery of efficient and effective
products and services. This will include working with the RNG’s to
identify
new business opportunities, share best practice and pro-
actively
manage any areas of decline/client churn.

To
encourage, drive and support the RNG sales teams by:
1.
Identifying training needs and providing up-to-date/regular
tuition on
all products, services and processes
2.
Providing up-to-date sales data/statistics, marketing and
industry
information.
3.
Ensuring that everyone is pro-actively using their product
knowledge in
order to correctly position their client solutions
and deal
effectively with any issues and competitor threats
4.
Ensuring that the required levels of activity are in place to
achieve/exceed targets, increase revenues, grow client bases
and guarantee
client satisfaction
5.
Dual-calling on client visits in order to help close
business,
monitor
development (giving advice and guidance), as well as
gathering
client feedback on products and services.
6.
Organising meetings to share/progress ideas and initiatives,
communicate
objectives and agree sales plans/focus.

To
monitor, measure and forecast ongoing RNG performance
within agreed
formats and timescales – with the aim of providing
accurate
management information
·
To
attend, prepare for and participate in one-to-one and team
meetings
that will review/guide performance (including appraisals),
share/progress ideas and initiatives, communicate objectives and
agree sales plans/focus
·
To
attend and present internal/external training sessions as and
when
appropriate to increase skill set. Plus be responsible for
continually updating your product, market and competitor
knowledge
·
To
recognise the importance and benefits of effective team
working, assisting colleagues and providing cover as and when
required. This
also includes respecting and motivating your
colleagues responsible
for servicing and supporting your work in
other departments.

To
handle difficult situations and people in a professional manner
maintaining a positive customer focused attitude at all times
·
To
undertake special projects and tasks as and when required,
co-ordinating with relevant internal business units to deliver
objectives.

·
Regional newspaper sales experience would be beneficial
·
A
full UK
driving licence is essential
