Graphics/UI Designer Wallingford

We are looking for a capable and experienced Graphics / UI Designer based in Wallingford in Oxford.

Gladstone MRM is providing an excellent opportunity for a senior creative and experienced Graphic / UI Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate must have good knowledge of UI Designing, Website Designing and Product Campaign Designing etc. They must be able to perform as Design Analyst of applications for CMS, Web, Client, Kiosk, EPOS and Mobile frameworks working in close collaboration with Marketing, Analysts, QA and Development team for ensuring the Usability, Navigation and user experience of the project. Some of core responsibilities are to handle print oriented projects and produce high quality and attractive brochures.

Applicant should be innovative and flexible to support the organization. Salary will be according to the applicant’s qualification and experience.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

·         Design and prototype advanced software UI/UX concepts for web
      clients and RIAs.
·         Facilitating design ideation, prototyping, and usability test efforts
·         Using ad-hoc tools and technologies (such as HTML, CSS,
      VS.NET, Flash) as part of the iterative prototyping-design cycles.
·         Translating user requirements into innovative design sketches,
      wireframes, prototypes and written specifications as needed to
      help translate ideas into production.
·         Establishing usability goals for the applications and generating
      long-term usability plans.
·         Collaborating with software developers, web UI designers, and
      marketing managers. Including presenting plans, UX designs
      and scenarios to the management.
·         Directing web UI developers and graphic designers to reach the
      desired UI UX functionalities.
·         Finding and fixing current usability and UX related errors and flaws
      in applications.
·         Conducting usability testing during various phases of product
      development.
·         Developing various types of user scenarios and stories.
·         Introducing new technologies and emerging trends in user
      interfaces and user experience approaches to the company.
·         Experienced in designing for ecommerce Multi language multi
      country environments.
·         Developing white labels, deeply embedded designs in to
      syndicated websites

The essential knowledge skills and experiences required are:

·       Minimum of 10 years experience as a Graphic / UI Designer.
·       Good English knowledge both written and spoken is required
·       Strong Portfolio of Professionally designed Websites.
·       Collaborate & integrate code with application developers.
·       Expert in Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dream Weaver, Flash,
     Freehand, HTML and Cascading Style Sheet.
·       Desktop Publishing.
·       Aesthetics to develop attractive websites.
·       Develop front-end layouts using XHTML, CSS & JavaScript
     (JQuery and other libraries).
·       Knowledge of WPF technology and Microsoft Expression
     Studio 3.
·       Experience in HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript and AJAX and
     ASP.NET.
·       Problem solving and decision making skills to transform creative
     ideas into practical reality.
·       Ability to work in a multitasking environment.
·      Creativity with appreciation of user-experience, business, and
     commercial issues.
·       Strong analytical abilities.
·       Ability to guide a product from initial concept all the way through
     to production and post launch evaluation.
·       Up-to-date knowledge of web technologies, tools and trends that
     can be used to form highly dynamic, web applications and RIAs.
