


European
HR Manager
As
part of SRA International, Constella Group is a leader in providing
professional health services worldwide. Through our work in health
sciences, international development, and pharmaceutical product
development, Constella works closely with industry and government
clients to understand and address today’s health problems and to
prepare for the health needs of tomorrow.
We
are currently seeking a full time European HR Manager to join our
successful HR Team based at our offices in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Partner
with Corporate colleagues and HR Director to ensure that
Constella’s policies and best practices are followed
Participate
pro-actively in the design and application of Corporate policies
and actively contribute to the ongoing development and process
improvement
Participate
in senior management forums to raise current HR issues and
discuss them in the context of the overall business environment
Predict
the company’s changing needs, particularly with respect to
Provide
a high-level advisory service to all employees and senior
management team, ensuring that all European employment
legislation is adhered to globally
Provide
line management to the HR department
Play
a key role in employee motivation and career development
Ensure
that all aspects of the Performance Review (PDP) process are
properly administered
Visit all of Constella’s/SRA’s offices at regular intervals to ensure continuity and visibility of HR support
To
be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and
qualifications:
Proactive
approach to HR strategy for the improvement of business success
Commercial
awareness, and ability to embrace the challenges of co-ordinating
business requirements with good HR practice
Comprehensive
knowledge of relevant European HR legislation
Ability
to build good working relationships with people at all levels
and in all countries
Strong
interpersonal and people management skills
Ability
to communicate clearly, logically, and with authority, to both
management and staff
A
degree or equivalent qualification, and/or qualification in
Human Resources
Ideally
fluent French speaker, plus working knowledge of another
European language would be desirable
Previous
change management experience is essential
Typically
7 years’ experience in Human Resources
Typically
18 months’ experience as European HR professional
Previous
experience of managing a small team would be desirable
Experience of a global environment essential
