Analyst / Business Operations Analyst
As
part of SRA International, Constella Group is a leader in providing
professional health services worldwide. Through our work in health
sciences, international development, and pharmaceutical product
development, Constella works closely with industry and government
clients to understand and address today’s health problems and to
prepare for the health needs of tomorrow.
We
are currently seeking a full time Financial Analyst / Business
Operations Analyst to join our successful Finance Team based at our
offices in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Role
summary:
Develops
plans, including budgets and schedules, to meet contractual/project
requirements for a program. Participates in establishing and
defining program plan requirements. Monitors and reports performance
against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule
objectives are met. May interface with top management, responding to
their requests for financial data and to resolve reporting and
compliance issues. May conduct or lead audits.
Key
responsibilities include:
Perform
project tracking responsibilities including actuals to budget
monitoring, Gross Margin trending and hours/FTE forecasting.
Work
closely with contracts group, project set up group and
Operations Groups (Project Managers and departments) to develop
and maintain project financial forecasting tools.
Assist
with Project Plan Set up, update forecasts, and maintain project
information in forecasting system
Update
contract values and trigger invoices on unitized contracts
Assist
in Training of project teams
Assist
with resolving system/reporting issues
Ad hoc analysis for Project Managers and clients as requested
Qualifications:
BS
degree required (preferably in Accounting or Finance or related
education), and typically 2 to 3 years experience with project
forecasting, revenue recognition, cost analysis strongly
preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience
will be considered.
Analyst
work in a project based environment is required.
International
Project Finance or experience working with multiple currencies
preferred
Extensive
experience with complex modelling in MS Excel; and experience
with enterprise financial systems and experience with Deltek’s
Cost Point and Enterprise Planner strongly preferred
Excellent
communication skills and the ability to work with multiple teams
and multiple level of management
Familiarity
with contract administration and interpretation.
Ability
to work in a fast paced environment and ability to multitask.
Ability
to present financial information and concepts to co workers,
project teams and Sr. Management.
Financial system Training experience helpful
