Purpose of the Job: |
|
Excellent opportunity to join a dynamic software development company located in pleasant countryside near Steventon. You will be an important part of a small sales and marketing team, making outgoing sales calls to prospective customers, managing mailshots, building relationships and qualifying major business opportunities. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude, determined to succeed and prepared to go the extra mile when needed. A track record in telesales will be an advantage.

Introduction: |
Codegate is a software development company that helps businesses track people, products and services. We use wireless mobile computers to make it easier for field workers to collect, process and store data. We provide internet gateways and portals to give customers greater access to their data.
In spite of the recession Codegate has enjoyed continuing growth and needs to increase its sales and marketing resource. We are looking for ambitious individual intent on a rewarding career in sales.
The role is primarily office based, although occasional travelling may be required to visit suppliers, conferences and clients

Outline of Job Function: |

Make calls to new
prospect databases to identify and update
appropriate contact
details
·
Make regular calls to
existing customers to uncover sales
opportunities and ensure mailshot permissions are up to date
·
Aim to build up
relationships with new clients and instil early
confidence in Codegate
·
Pass qualified major
opportunities to account managers and
sales consultants.
·
Manage the delivery of
mailshots and email shots to prospective
customers.

Relationships: |
·
The Telesales
executive will report to the Sales Director
·
You will be working in
a small sales & marketing team with
responsibility for disseminating
sales information to customers
and identifying major sales
opportunities. You also will be able
to take and process orders
·
You will work with the
Managing Director, Sales Director, external
suppliers and marketing
organisations to develop telesales
campaigns
·
You will use and help
develop the internal CRM system to
effectively monitor the success
of each campaign

Appraisal: |
·
A full appraisal and
performance review will be conducted annually
in January, followed
by an interim review in July
·
Attributes required of
the individual
|
Education, Qualifications and Training: |
· Formal telesales training an advantage, but not essential.
|
Experience: |
· A proven track record in telesales is highly desirable.
|
General skills and attributes: |
The individual must be highly self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales success. The nature of the products and projects will change continuously, therefore the applicant must embrace change enthusiastically and always be willing to learn new products and skills. Codegate is a team orientated organisation – the applicant must be a confident and enthusiastic team player.

Incentive Schemes: |
We operate a group bonus scheme, where the team is rewarded on the overall performance of the company, and in line with an OTE expectation.

| Salary: | £18,000 plus OTE |
