Debit Controller
Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00 (35 hrs per week)
Salary: £15,888 per annum
Bookpoint Limited is one of the leading book distribution companies in the UK and an opportunity in our Central Accounts department has become available.
Applicants should have good communication and organisational skills, be self-motivated and flexible. Candidates should have a professional telephone manner and demonstrate good keyboard skills. Ideally, candidates will have previous customer service experience and some working knowledge of excel.
Objectives:
To provide a pro-active service to key customers ensuring that accounts are kept within acceptable levels of queries and claims.
To minimize the overdue balance on each live account within your assigned section of the ledger.
Key
Responsibilities:

Maintain continuous review of customer's claims with regard to resolving and clearing claims within an agreed time scale.

To develop own role within department and be active in improving procedures

Ensure the best possible working relationship with both customers and publishers

Attend meetings and customer visits when required

Despatching copy documentation to customers eg: copy invoices and credits

Pool resource and support other team members to reduce outstanding queries
