Responsibilities include: |
1. Pre-Sales
Support:
This will include mprodigy product
demonstrations, writing of technical proposals and
input into
general sales proposals and tenders.
2.
Partner Support:
Assisting B2M’s Channel Partners to install,
configure and support mprodigy systems. This
will include large
scale, multi-national roll-outs with many thousands of
mobile
users where strong Project Management skills will be
essential.
A formal Project Management approach must be adopted,
which
reflects a professional B2M image, whilst maintaining
flexibility.
3.
Post-Sales Support:
This
will include:
Ø Second
and third line technical support
Ø Issue
management and resolution
Ø Technical
troubleshooting
Ø Adhering
to internal B2M problem escalation processes to
ensure that Customer and
Partner satisfaction is maintained
Ø Input
to the B2M Knowledge Database
Ø Interfacing
with B2M development on issues which require
fourth line support

To be successful, you’ll need to be prepared to travel and you’ll need extensive knowledge and commercial experience of providing pre- and post-sales support for complex software solutions including:

Operating Systems & Configuration
Ø PC
Networking Technologies & Protocols (TCP/IP, DNS,
Domains)
Ø Internet
Networking (IIS, Routers, Firewalls)
Ø Wireless
Networking (WLAN / GPRS)
Ø Database
Applications (MS SQL Server)
Ø Mobile
Devices (Windows Mobile, CE)
Ø Extensive
experience in a customer facing role, including a
Technical Support / Pre-Sales / Professional Service /
Project
Management environment.
Ø Experience
gained with a major software / networking vendor
would be a distinct advantage.
