Purpose of the Job: |
The primary focus is to provide technical sales support to the Rail and Transport Account Management Team including supporting sales campaigns and running analysis on data for written and verbal presentation to customers. The role will be reporting directly to the Sector Director for the United Kingdom and Ireland (UK&I) Rail and Transport. |
| Key responsibilities: | |
Ø To
compile a variety of professional customer reports to support
the sales and account management teams, as well as
internal
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other management
reports
Ø To
support customer queries and portal administration as well
as manage the buyer invoicing process
Ø To
analyse and present quantative and qualitative data for
internal and customer use
Ø To
interact with IT developers in the maintenance and co
-ordination of IT development
Ø To
provide support for customers and customer meetings
including presentations, documents and general administration
Ø To
manage technical delivery of customer communication
campaigns including letter and Outlook mail merges
Ø Be
an integral part of the Rail Services Team working closely
with the Sector Director, Account Managers and other
departments to contribute positively to the development of
the
operation and ensure delivery of the overall revenue targets
Ø To
communicate effectively to the Construction Services team
and colleagues in other parts of the business
Ø To
work within a framework of corporate standards and policies
Ø To
carry out additional duties as required
| Knowledge and previous experience: |
Ø Producing
high quality verbal and written communication,
including presentations and proposals for clients
Ø Analysing
relatively complex data and reporting key results
and findings
Ø Design
and development of Excel spreadsheets and Word
reports
Ø Working
in a pressured environment and managing multiple
priorities to tight deadlines
Ø Experience
of customer presentations beneficial but not
essential

The post holder may be required to travel throughout UK&I to visit existing and prospective clients, work on client-side (as required) as part of sales and delivery team, and work as part of Achilles Rail and Transport team. |
