Background:

Achilles Information Ltd a global leader in supply chain management solutions. As a result of expansion, two exciting opportunities have arisen to join our successful and dynamic team as an Internal Sales Consultant.

The Role: We are currently looking for two Internal Sales Consultants to join our rapidly growing organisation. In order to increase our business growth, we require a tenacious Internal Sales Consultant with a successful track record of taking prospects through the sales cycle from cold call to closure. We are also looking for an Internal Sales Consultant with a proven track record of maintaining and maximising sales from existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:  

Ø  Over 60 outgoing calls on a daily basis
Ø  Converting leads into new and renewal sales
Ø  Generating leads though outgoing and incoming calls
Ø  Responding to incoming sales enquiries
Ø  Sending out enquiry packs and literature
Ø  Recording call notes and results in a CRM system
Ø  Providing high quality service to customers and escalating
    to appropriate personnel
Ø  Keep an accurate and up to date call log
Ø  Producing brief reports of telephone-call results
Ø  Attending regular team meetings to discuss issues, suggestions
    etc. relating to the running of the Sales Team
Ø  To carry out any additional duties as requested
Ø  To work within a framework of corporate standards and policies

Physical factors:   

The post holder should have an excellent record of health and attendance.  They should be smartly presented and confident in dealing with people at all levels.  

Knowledge and previous experience:    

The Internal Sales Consultant will have experience of working within a sales and/or telesales environment. 

Person specification:  

We are looking for our Internal Sales Consultant to be confident, target-driven and enthusiastic. The successful applicant with be working within a focused and dynamic team of 8 staff, hence good interpersonal skills and enthusiasm is essential. They should have excellent communication skills and a clear telephone voice. An excellent and confident telephone manner is imperative together with the ability to handle supplier calls, negotiate in a friendly professional way and close sales.

The post-holder should be well organised and be able to prioritize activities with the support of the Team Leader. Attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of working to deadlines and sales targets are important.

The Internal Sales Consultant should possess a professional, mature and friendly manner and should enjoy working as part of a team.

Salary:

£17,000 - £22,000 + OTE
