| Purpose of the Job: |
To lead the Assessment Services business globally. Responsibility for the P&L and achieving the growth expectations of the business through the sale of audits to every SMS scheme in the Achilles Group portfolio. Implementation of and management of the global organization to ensure that audits are delivered to the required standards. |
| Key responsibilities: | |
Ø To
lead the development of the Assessment Services business
globally and take full P&L responsibility for agreed
budget targets
Ø To
identify future opportunities for growth and put into place the
Sales and Operational capability to secure these
Ø Implement
the global structure to ensure that every audit is
delivered to the necessary quality, time, cost and
integrity
expectations
Ø Support
the business development teams in every region with the
necessary Sales Support processes to sell audits to
their existing
and new schemes
Ø Take
responsibility for the on-going development of the AAS Global
Management System and its implementation in every audit
business globally
Ø Responsibility
for the development of the Achilles Assessment
Services budget
Ø Work
with the Regional Directors to identify priority opportunities
for audit development within the respective regions,
agree an
implementation plan and ensure that adequate resourcing
is
available to deliver
Ø Recruit
and lead a global audit management team
Ø Formulate
and implement the global strategy for the AAS business
Ø Management
Reporting as required to Achilles Group and to the
Regional Directors

| Knowledge and previous experience |
Ø Sales/Commercial
experience within an audit environment
Ø An
audit background, with experience of managing an audit
team/audit business
Ø International
audit management experience
Ø Working
knowledge of supply chain management
Ø A
sound knowledge of risk management
Ø Ideally
Lead Assessor Certification (via examination)
Ø Membership
of a relevant professional institution
Ø Possess
high degree of literacy and ability to draft and review audit
reports using pre-defined quality control process
Ø Experience
of implementing/applying internal codes of conduct
around the delivery of audit programmes
