| Purpose of the Job: |
To support the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and the wider senior management team as required, on a day-to-day basis with business critical projects and actions. |
| Key responsibilities: | |
Ø Support
Group Office in the day-to-day management of the
business
Ø Preparation
for meetings involving PowerPoint presentations,
general materials, agendas and documentation, including
regular attendance at the CEO’s weekly management
meetings
Ø Management
of ad hoc projects including projects for other
members of the Group Executive on agreement with the CEO;
this will include being integral to business critical and
confidential projects
Ø Integral
to the implementation of the annual General Managers’
Meetings (GMM); actions include, and will not be restricted
to,
developing the agenda, organising logistics and arrangements
and ensuring that all relevant marketing collateral is
available
Ø Attendance
at seminar meetings, minute taking and follow up
actions to meetings, ensuring that all outputs are completed
in
a timely fashion
Ø Working
closely with corporate guidelines and frameworks;
ensuring quality management with regards to all outputs from
the CEO office
| Knowledge and previous experience: |
Previous experience gained from working in a commercial organisation would be advantageous, as well as knowledge and experience of Achilles.

good working knowledge of Microsoft suite (intermediate level)

| Person specification: |
This role gives the opportunity for the post holder to work regularly with the CEO and the wider senior management team, with exposure to all the component parts of managing a commercial business. The post requires a level of self-assurance, confidence, and decisiveness in dealing with senior personnel, with the discretion to be able to refer back to the CEO as appropriate. As well as being analytical, self motivated and well organised, the post also requires someone who can multi-task and work using their own initiative to complete business critical actions.

There may be an occasional requirement to work beyond contracted hours or to work at other offices, therefore the ability to drive and a clean driving license would be preferable. |
